We are a family-run, home-based business providing you with one-of-a-kind works of traditional art created within the Fair Trade network. Fair Trade is a worldwide organization which ensures that artists and craftspeople receive a fair payment for their skills and efforts. We specialize in creations from Africa and South America, but offer pieces from around the globe. We strive for a win-win-win. Your life is enriched with unique and original art that brings beauty, history, education, and pride. The artist is empowered to build a better life for herself/himself and her/his family while also keeping the ancient ways intact and available to the next generation. We are able to put food on our table while knowing we haven't taken it out of someone else's mouth to do so. Because we are a small, family-run, and home-based business, we regret that we cannot offer you some of the big business perks, such as a business phone number, or promise of an instant answer to questions. (Three of us also work full-time as teachers, and one of us is physically challenged.) We do promise, however, to give you the best service possible, to answer all questions as quickly and completely as we can, and to always strive to earn your trust and patronage. And maybe, God willing, we will eventually grow to be able to offer some of those "big guy" services! So please, stay and browse awhile; you may find something that you (and the craftsperson and us) cannot live without!
