The
SPD Ability Enterprise, a programme provided by the Society for the
Physically Disabled, focuses on training and employment for people with
physical disabilities. Here, those with moderate to high functioning
skills engage in a range of activities depending on their interests and
abilities, from creating customised photo albums to packing,
letter-shopping, and even web designing, data entry and video editing,
and earn an allowance or a salary for the job done.
The SPD Ability Enterprise focuses on being commercial and
productivity-based instead of following the traditional
welfare/rehabilitation model. This allows our trainees with physical
disabilities to operate in a professional environment where
productivity and professionalism are encouraged and rewarded. This
helps to maximise the potential of the individual trainee and
encourages them to perform at their level best.
The
merchandise that SPD lists on eBay are items such as: • Digital Arts • Computer accessories • Books • Gifts Ideas
Start
small to gain confidence in the selling. Buying products from eBay
helps you to
understand and appreciate the mechanism. Subsequently, search for the
pricing of similar items on the eBay and determine your best price.
Once you have achieved the understanding of selling on eBay, you can go
on a larger scale to sell more items. There are vast opportunities for
creating awareness of your products and services via eBay.
